Yes, by simply clicking "Become a Fan".
Unlike Fans, There is no list of followed artists listed on Artist profiles. But still an artist will be able to receive event updates and shouts from the followed artist.
After logging in through the homepage, you will find your name and image replacing the log in box. Simply click on your name or image to access your profile. And you can always access your profile page from anywhere within the website through your name and small image on top right of the page you are visiting.
Simply click on "Become a friend" on the Fans profile to send a request. As soon as your request is accepted then you become friends with this fan.
Simply click on "Become a fan" button.
If you are a fan the artist will be displayed on your profile and you will be displayed on the artist profile. There are no requests sent in this case.
On each user profile, There is a small icon on top left of page. Click on it if you want to report a user.
Click "Edit Profile" button on top right of profile page, then click on "Upload Profile Pic" button below the profile image.
A shout is a simple and easy way for updates or sharing your thoughts with friends or fans.
This is where you can view the "Artists" who are streaming a live event.
This calendar shows the events for Artists the Fans chose to follow.
This section is where you receive event updates and shouts from friends or artists.
General
For a reasonable quality broadcast use an internet speed of 512 Kbps or above.
For a reasonable quality broadcast use an Upload speed of 512 Kbps or above.
We are working on this and soon there will be an IWJ mobile application.

Live Streaming
One hour starting from the time specified for event.
If an Artist is on air, you can view the full list of on air artists through the "On Air" link in header. Simply just visit the Artist profile you want to watch live and click on the "On Air" button on top right of artist profile. When an artist is on air this "On Air" button will show orange color.
When you set up a date and time for your live event. The "Go Live" button on top right of page will turn orange at the time you have set for your event. Simply click on it and you are ready to stream live your event.
There are 10 available slots each day. It's based on first come first in basis.
One event only.
Only one event is allowed for each artist per day.
Creating or broadcasting live events is allowed only for artists. To broadcast a live event:
1- go to "My Board" and below the event flyer on the right click "Edit" or "View Events Calendar" where you will be able to access you calendar.
2- Click on the date you would like to set for your event, then click on "Add Event" and enter the event information in the pop up window and finally click "Create Event"
3- The "Go Live" Button on your page will turn orange at the specified time you entered. Just click on it to access you camera and microphone.
Music Players
When you click the "Edit Profile" button, just double click the name of album you want to edit and click "Update" after you are done
You can rename uploaded songs after there download is complete. Double click on the existing song name and simply type the name you like.
1- Click "Edit Profile" button on top right of profile page, Player will switch to "Album Editor" view where you can add a new album name or edit an existing album name.
2- Upload songs in the chosen album.
3- After you are done click "Save & Exit" in Player
4- Finally click "Save" button on top right of your page to return to the page original view
This feature allows artists to choose a no. of 2 songs to be played through the homepage player.
These songs belong to "Artists" registered on IWJ and choose to play their original songs on the homepage player.
Please make sure that all uploaded songs contain no dots in it's name except that for the file extension (for example: .mp3).
